BRIEFE UND VORSCHLÄGE / LETTERS AND PROPOSALS

Dear Friends,
This year the Worldchampionship will be in Belchatov in Poland. At this Worldchampionship, for the first time there will be two section-meetings to discuss the points for FRS H and O on August 2nd, 20.00 hours, and a second section-meeting for FSR V on August 7th, 20.00 hours.
If you have any suggestions, you can send them untill the 20th July by mail to Peter Schaft. At this moment we have had proposals from 4 countries.

A list of the proposals:

Sweden:
1. Extending number of participants:
If a junior-class is cancelled in Championships in concequence of few registers, the following actions should take place; registered junior participants in Championships should be given the possibility to participate in the correspondent senior class. This will be done by adding the numbers of juniors into the sum of the seniors.
Motive: Naviga should encourage juniors by allowing them to compete instead of letting their trip to the championship be invain. This positive action has already been practised in FSR H 3.5 at the World Cup 1986 in Ostiglia, Italy.

2. Participation in senior classes:
Juniors wo have qualified nationally in senior class for the championships should have the alternative to compete in senior class.
Motive: In some nations it is common that juniors compete in senior classes when the juniors are to few. If they are capable to qualify for Championships they ought to be given the change to compete in the same class.
(If the meeting finds it necessary it can ben arguable with some limit of age).

Great Britain:
A request for discussion at the World Championships about allowing 5 qualifiers per class per country in FSR V.

Germany:
A proposal for 5 participants per class in FSR V.

Holland:
A proposal for 5 participants per class in FSR. A proposal for mixing the Championship for FSR Hydro and Offshore with the Championship for FSR V.

Proposal of the section leaders;
Changing of the rules:

Point 3.1.1 (3) The year of the competition is from January 1st untill January 1st of the next year.
Point 3.2.1 (2) For safety reasons the junior competitors in the FSR 15 cc and 35 cc engines classes must be at least 12 years old.
Point 3.3.4 (3) Radio's may not be switched on within 1000 mtrs. of the competion area. Competitors who dissobey this rule will be disqualified from the whole competition.
Point 3.4.1 (4) The running of engines within 200 mtrs. of the competition is not allowed
Page 20 of 38,
Point 6 (3) The number plate for FSR V must be mounted on the right hand side. The number plate for FSR H/O must be mounted on the left hand side.

Suggestion:
One combined section-meeting for all classes.
This means that the represantative of the country has to stay after the first part of the competition so he is able to be at the section-meeting, which will be hold during the second part of the competition.

At this moment the management of the sections are:
Section leader: Peter Schaft
Responsible FSR H: Henry Jaartsveld
Responsible FSR O: Paul Fermin
Responsible FSR V: Ian Folkson

Best regards,
Section leader FSR, Peter Schaft
