RULES OF FSR-V CLASS COMPETITION
FOR EUROPEAN CUP

1. European Cup (EC) competition is organised by the countries, members of world model boating association NAVIGA. EC competitions will be held in Europe. Competitors must be members of their countries Association which is affiliated to NAVIGA.

2. Each country, member or NAVIGA can only organise one competition in any one season, counting towards EC result. EP competitions is run in accordance to the valid NAVIGA, FSR-V section rules. Entry fee is always €15 (current valid entry fee for official NAVIGA competitions. €10 to the organisers, €5 to the trophy fund).

3. Interest to organise a competition counting towards the EC should be forwarded to NAVIGA by the national associations before 30 April (the same as for entry to WC). The FSR-V section meeting determines which countries will be organising competitions for the EC over the next 2 years. Any potential cancellation must be advised by the national Association at least 6 months before the competition is due to take place.

4. Competitions should be held approximately 3 - 4 weeks apart. During each season 7 - 9 races are held counting towards the EC. 4 - 5 races or best results will count towards the final place in the EC.

5. Juniors and seniors are receiving separate points. For juniors the best result of qualification runs counts towards final place.

6. At competitions counting towards the EC the achieved places receive points in the following way:

1st place 100 points
2nd place 80 points
3rd place 60 points
4th place 50 points
5th place 45 points
6th place 40 points
7th place 35 points
8th place 30 points
9th place 25 points
10th place 20 points
11th place 15 points
12th place 10 points

7. Bonus points are added to the points won according to the place achieved. The bonus points will depend on the number of competitors taking part in any one competition in each class ( bonus points are the number of competitors racing in a particular class in a particular competition). For example; if there are 40 competitors in category 7.5 cc the winner will get 140 points and the 12th place will get 50 points.

8. EC competition is supervised and run by the FSR section and leader of FSR-V section or named deputy. Any complains should be filed with either leader of FSR section or leader of FSR-V section.
